After unknown artist (4), graphite pyrography, tea and watercolour on tea stained paper, 35cm x 25cm, 2020. This on going series of work is made using images selected from the Royal Botanical Gardens collection in Edinburgh. Many of the images in the collection were made by unknown artists in various exotic locations. My botanicals are created using a random number generator, picking two or three images to fuse together into hybrids. Referencing both the chaos of nature and the unknown creator.
